New Moon in Capricorn occurs January 16, 2018 at 6:17 PM PST/9:17 PM EST. This is the first New Moon of 2018 and carries an energetic forcefield of healing Violet light, potent portals for setting your goals and strategies for success to initiate a new cycle of authority, leadership and redistribution of Power on the planet. Are you ready for that?

The New Moon in Capricorn is called the “Forgotten One’s Moon”. So far from Her home sign of Cancer, the Capricorn New Moon is cold, dark and remote. This distance creates a Mother-Daughter wounded Moon because there is usually a lack of emotional bonding that occurs very early in life. This energy usually creates a very distinct desire to parent and lead in a powerful way once that primal wound is healed.  As the Moon and Sun align almost exact Polaris, the North Star, you will be blessed with waterfalls of healing light from the Violet Ray (Keep reading to see Visualization below).

New Moon Energy 411

Let’s first start with New Moon Energy 411. This is the zero point energy field where all of Nature has moved towards Stillness (see I Ching hexagram 52 “Keeping Still”). The dark stillness is the energy of creation. Within this container is the possibility of all things. In order to create, attract and manifest you must learn the fine art of timing and stillness. Move into stillness with the New Moon and Nature. As you do, you have more powerful Universal energy in which to manifest what you want.

Polaris:  North Star

As the Sun and Moon come together at 26 degrees Capricorn, they align with Polaris, the North Star of Ursa Minor, “Little Dipper”. Polaris is almost exact our celestial North Pole. All stars travel around Polaris as it doesn’t appear to move in the night sky. The Big Dipper, like a big clock, goes full circle around Polaris in one day, in a counter-clockwise direction. Polaris marks the spot of Nature’s grandest celestial clock! Travelers would use the Big Dipper to find Polaris and know they were always moving northward. Slaves seeking freedom in the North and in Canada in the 1800s used Polaris to find their way North to escape. They referred to the Big Dipper as “the Drinking Gourd”.

Taoist Cosmology:  Polaris & Pineal

According to Taoist Cosmology, physical alignment with Polaris is believed to be found in your Pineal gland. Your Pineal Gland opens up your Crown Celestial Chakra and is the “Doorway to Heaven”. Polaris is said to be a ladder to the Universe. The Wu Chi, or Universal Tao, gives birth to the Tai Chi, or Yin and Yang. This then gives birth to the Three Pure Ones:  Shen, Qi and Jing. The Three Pure Ones gives birth to the five stars of the Big Dipper upon which Polaris is doorway through your Crown Chakra!

Taoist astrologers believe the Big Dipper to come from a grouping of Violet Stars. The infrared light from Ursa Major “Big Dipper” combined with the Violet light of Polaris is cosmic nutrition for your Crown Chakra. This is a great time for Pineal gland activation through Violet Light meditation. Visualize the Big Dipper as a Ladle or Drinking Gourd and imagine Violet light pouring from this Great Ladle into your Crown Chakra into your Pineal gland. Do this visualization once a day throughout this lunar cycle (01/16-02/15/18).

The Moon, Sun & Saturn: Sabian Love Song

Saturn is home in his castle of Capricorn for the next 2.5 years. This New Moon is the first lunar cycle of 2018 and the lunation in Capricorn. Look for the Full Moon crescendo in six months to what you plant now. Saturn at 3 degrees Capricorn playing the early notes of this Capricorn melody. The Moon and Sun are at 26 degrees playing the later notes. This degree is considered a “Starseed” degree from Andromeda. The Octave of Capricorn being sung by the Sabian Symbols goes from Group Activity “Outfitting a Canoe for a new Journey” to Upleveling “Pilgrims climbing a steep steps leading to a Mountain Shrine”. Saturn says to look for the common will, focus and goals of a group action plan. This “common will” creates the action plan and how you bring concrete goals into manifestation. The Sun and Moon show the great possibilities of inspired group action. When each one is devoted to their “Why”, the journey together becomes a pilgrimage. What happens next is when following the well-worn paths of ancient teachers, sages, or mystics, the group has a destination. The culmination is the rise of consciousness as each person experiences a transcendent realization. But it is the journey together that makes it possible.

The energy here is about testing individual freedom with group activity to reach a higher vibration. This carries the journey of Spirit and Matter ~ to be in the world but not of it. As you anchor in and live this storyline, you shift Humanity’s ability to transcend the 3rd Dimension making a quantum leap to the 5th Dimension and beyond.
