The Virgo lunar cycle timeline: September 17th to October 15th, 2020
Welcome to a new lunar cycle to set intentions, create, manifest, breakthrough, bring to fruition, and finally let it all go! This version of the 2020 Virgo lunar cycle starts at 25 degrees Virgo and is chock full of Soul medicine. Mars is in retrograde through November 13th offering you the power of purification. This is also in alignment with the power of Virgo’s energy, too. Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, goes retrograde near the end of this lunar cycle in the Underworld energy of Scorpio. The theme is truly to cleanse your shadow side this lunation. There are opportunities for true body, mind, and spirit healing at multiple dimensions. The Human Design Gateway for the New Moon carries the energy of “Friction”. You are going to experience what rubs you the wrong way. And if you stay in a lower vibration, it is just not going to feel good. Don’t blame Mars or Mercury or even the shadow energy of Virgo. It’s supposed to feel uncomfortable to get your attention to stop what you are doing and make the necessary changes to improve your life on many levels. If you want to get through 2020, you are going to have to change!
The New Moon passes through the Lunar Mansion called the Scepter. The Scepter appears to remind you that you hold the power to create your life. Or if you stay unconscious or controlled, you also have the power to destroy your life. Virgo reminds you to start in the quantum realm of Thoughts and set up healthy daily routines to make positive mental, emotional, and behavioral change. What is the Virgo New “Maiden’s Moon”?
Your inner Maiden is ready to be reborn with this next new lunar cycle. The Maiden’s Moon is the Virgin or Pure New Moon who is stepping into a new version of your divine Goddess Self. The Virgin Goddess, or Maiden, is the version of you that is whole unto itself. Like Venus arriving on the clamshell, you do not need to be reliant on any outside help to thrive. This is the time to dive into enjoying your own company. Look deeply at what brings you joy, lights your creative fire, and makes you want to dance in life. Look at where you have put up walls. These walls may have been built in times when life was a struggle ~ especially around intimacy. Look for when you tend to keep yourself alone by keeping others out. Look closely at why you seek solitude or why you desire to be social. The Maiden’s Moon helps you loosen up, tear down old walls, and create healthy boundaries. You are learning to take care of yourself and enjoy the company of others in the best ways possible.

In times of tumultuous, accelerated change, it is not easy to find sacred ground, locate neutrality, or practice the fine art of compassion. There is so much distraction and division that pulls at you. You can literally be split apart by taking sides. It is a true test of a Warrior to find the middle ground and remain in complete non-judgment. Virgo’s power lies in critical thinking. You know you have gone overboard if you fall into highly polarized judgemental thinking. If you believe there is a “good guy and a bad guy”, then the Warrior is not home within her center. Your center is your “sacred ground”. Remain there until you are called into action. Be the crouching tiger ready to strike. Be the hidden dragon knowing your power and strength.
To be a warrior of Light in these times of darkness is a 24-hour calling. This calling is your “Yes!” to being in sacred service to the divine. Ask yourself, “At what altar am I serving? How do I direct my power, strength, and focus?” These are the rudimentary questions to be asking yourself. As the world experiences a purification, the dark shadows expose themselves. The warrior is not afraid. The warrior knows that the exposure signals that that part of oneself is ready to be transformed. Remember this way of looking at the world and one another. Forego the quick, reactive vibration to judge and then to condemn. Virgo’s frequency partner is Pisces ~ the all-knowing Soul energy. As you are learning about Virgo’s frequency this lunation, learn about Pisces, too. This is the yin to the yang!
To truly be of sacred service, you must make the choice to be responsible for your own energy. With the Virgo lunation, you can set into motion to understand how your energy works. Remember, thoughts and feelings when acted upon created consequences — cause and effect. Think of all the times you may have over-reacted and caused a stir. You are responsible for that energy taking on a life of its own in the world. Who knows the consequences of what that energy catalyzed?! Virgo wants to help you understand how to clean up your own energetic messes. First by becoming aware of what you are doing. Acknowledging that “Wow, I did that?!” Accepting that “Yeah, I did that.” and taking responsibility for controlling that behavior. Once you see what harm you can do unconsciously, then you can develop behaviors and ways of being that do not wreak energetic havoc. This is called mindfulness. Everyone needs to slow down so they can become more mindful. From this heightened place of awareness, we can stop the madness of what we do.

Thank you, dear Wise woman, L.G., for your question. Let me first wish you a very happy Return of the Sun birthday! The Sun has been going through your sign of Virgo since August 22nd. Hooray! This is the best time of the year for Virgos because the Sun comes back to your part of the Cosmos to rejuvenate you for a whole year. It’s like getting your solar batteries recharged.
With the next lunar cycle in Virgo, what this means for you as a Virgo is that you can set into motion a new cycle of creating something you need. It’s most auspicious because you have the Sun and Moon returning to your solar sign. This time of year is like a super Virgo time of year. So, L.G., what is it that is on your mind? What do you need to create in your life? Virgo are the leaders of being of service in the world. But first, the most powerful aspect of Virgo, is to be in service to one’s divine Self. If you have a habit of putting others’ needs before you own, you can set into motion a new behavior that says, “I fill my cup first.”. Now before you feel guilty and wonder how can you be that selfish, I have good news for you. The true nature of being in service is to allow the Divine to flow through you. The Divine is an unlimited, infinite source of power that is rooted in the frequency of Love. This enduring energy is the most powerful force in the Universe. When you allow yourself to be a conduit for the Divine, you have an unlimited access to energy that is already attuned to being of service.
It’s like you just have to get out of the way, trust, and know that you are allowing “not your will, but Thy Will be done” through you. It’s a supreme act of love to yourself and to the other person, place, or thing. So set that into motion if you need to up your Virgo “To Serve” game! Fill your cup first always. Then wait for your Angel Tap to know whom to serve and how. Then take action on that divine directive, letting the force of the Universe flow through you. Just like Reiki, you and the person the energy is being called to, get healings! It’s a win-win situation.
All in all, take this Virgo lunar cycle to put into motion something that you need to serve yourself. Redirect your critical thinking mind to allow the Divine to flow through you and see what happens. Your results will be astonishing!
