The Aquarius New Moon opens the Chinese New Year by bringing forth the powerful Emerald Wood Dragon! The last time the Emerald Wood Dragon appeared was in 1964. During that time, strides were being made towards space travel, the Civil Rights Act was signed into law, and the Beatles were taking the world by storm. The Year of the Dragon can expand collective movements towards improvement for humanity.

Uranus and Saturn are co-rulers of Aquarius. Uranus brings earthly Taurus and Saturn brings watery Pisces to this stellar year of the Dragon. Uranus wakes us up from our everyday, robotic slumber and Saturn brings spiritual focus to formulate a quantum leap in consciousness.

The Sun and Moon amplify Pluto’s journey through Aquarius over the next 20 years (2043). For Pluto to transform The Collective, we each individually must wake up to what is no longer in harmony for the greater good of humanity. Uranus, the future of Aquarius on Earth

Uranus is the modern ruler of Aquarius. At the time of the New Moon, Uranus forms a 1-degree orb square to empower the Emerald Wood Dragon’s energy in your life. At 19 degrees Taurus, Uranus returns to his innate position as the Sky God. The Sabian Symbol is seen as, “Wind, clouds, and haste.” This is a quickening energy that is needed to help you transform your material life.

Uranus is not a gentle energy. It is a “Kaboom!” in your life, similar to a lightning strike. With the added layer of being square to the Sun and Moon, Uranus is happy to shake things up for you. The message of this degree is how well can you manage during times of change. Does change knock you off your center? Or do you find that you have an immovable force field that keeps you stabilized and certain?

To successfully align with this energy, practice the fine art of going with the flow. When your intuition feels the right thing to do, do not hesitate. Get plenty of rest so that you can be in top form when having to make fast decisions. Strengthen your inner core and focus on bringing more balance into your life. As the Ancient Mariner, Saturn tells the story of what harm can befall you if you do not respect the natural world. The Albatross that comes to feed the Ancient Mariner is killed by him. The Albatross appears in the Sabian Symbols at 9 degrees Capricorn. Saturn’s spiritual dragon wisdom for you is to let go of fear, worry, and limiting beliefs whenever they appear in your life. According to Lynda Hill, this degree can powerfully assist you. You may feel lost or adrift at sea if you don’t yet know what to do next. The best thing to remember is that you are waking up from illusions. Realize that these illusions have been holding you back. The next step is to find your center, choose joy above all else, and reconnect to Spirit.

The Earth is traveling through the Leo constellation at 20 degrees. This degree invites you to embrace love in all its forms in your life. Be intoxicated by love.
